Paran Bandopadhya is his usual self and is brilliant as Soumitra's lawyer. Mimi is fresh and cute and does justify her paradigm shift from commercial garbage to more meaningful stuff. Lily Chakraborty as grandma perfectly complements Soumitra. The director duo is lucky yet again to have Soumitra Chatterjee by their side as the patriarch Dinen Lahiri chastising his son and showering Posto with all his love. All goes well till the biological parents want their child back which escalates into a court case between parents and grandparents.Though the idea of court battle seems a little far-fetched but the implementation is impeccable. Nandita-Shib duo perfectly captures the nuances of a hurting mother who is caught in the crossfire of career and spending time with her own son. The movie starts off with cute little Posto growing up in Shantiniketan with his caring Grandparents more than filling up the void created by the absence of his millennial parents toiling away in Kolkata to make a life. "Posto" is a directorial treat which addresses the most relevant issue plaguing almost every urban bengali household today in the most poignant yet assertive tone.
